Welcome to Bank House, nestled in the beautiful village of Hathersage in The Peak District National Park, right on the edge of Sheffield.
Formerly a historic bank, now an award-winning contemporary restaurant and cocktail bar nestled in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Bank House offers fresh locally sourced seasonal produce and the finest tipples from Europe and beyond. Bank House is here to offer you a European influenced metropolitan drinking and dining experience in the heart of rural Derbyshire.
Our brigade of internationally trained chefs and award-winning staff make it their mission to transport you away from the ordinary and into a whole new world of culinary delights, and carefully crafted cocktails all designed to stimulate the senses and arouse your tastebuds.
Food is everything to us here at Bank House, we pride ourselves on sourcing the very best local and seasonal ingredients wherever possible. Everything we serve is fresh and always prepared on the day. We take immense pride in sourcing our ingredients locally and from around the world, so that our menu remains contemporary and varied.
We like to think we offer a truly unique dining experience to the south Sheffield and North Derbyshire dining scene; with a seasonally changing menu designed to highlight the mood of each season and extenuate the natural essence we each get from the land and sea as each season passes.
We’ve recently moved to a seasonal offering here at Bank House to try to highlight and showcase the seasonal fayres on offer throughout the year.
Our Executive Chef Andrew Wornes has brought his years of industry knowledge and passion for food and combined them with our company ethos and drive to bring you the dining concept here at Bank House.
We have the firm belief here at Bank House that what goes in your glass is just as important as what goes on your plate. That’s why we’ve worked tirelessly to source the very finest wines, beers and spirits from our own fair isles as well as the rest of the world.
Bookings highly recommended.
