The Boathouse is a independently run family friendly restaurant set between the sea and a ley (lake) on Slapton Sands. Every table has a view of the lake on one side and the sea on the other. It is a very popular meeting place serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner(in the summer months)

We offer a classic range of seaside meals, including our renowned fish and chips, stone baked pizzas, burgers, salads and a children’s menu along with fresh coffee, tea and cakes served all day.

We offer a range of beers, cider and lager, on tap, along with a wide selection of red, white and sparkling wines, to compliment your meal.

Every table has the most amazing, panoramic views, not only of the sea which are a few steps away in one direction but Slapton Ley Nature Reserve in the other direction. In the summer months you can dine alfresco on our patio overlooking the ley and in the cooler months there is a fire and leather sofas for you to relax on.
